SIMPLE ELEGANCE

I stamped and coloured this image from Carolyn Shores Wright - Red Throated Hummingbird stamp, I used a corner punch and gem to give it some detail on the corner and matted the whole thing onto silver mirri card.  I printed out a sheet from the Embossibilities Elegance CD and cut into the design so that it overlapped my stamped image.  I finished the whole thing off with some gems on the curl.

  5. I love this hummimg bird Sharon, and what you've done with the backing paper. When you first look at it, you think the swirl has been added seperatly.

  7. I do like this Sharon and yes I too will be keeping your idea to use the backing paper as an extra layer with the cutouts, it looks so effective.

I love that stamp and as Christine said so good to see stamping being used with the cd's, as both work together really well.
